Hongtai Garden
Located in Malu town, Jiading district, Hongtai Garden is a modern eco-agricultural destination that brings together farming, leisure, and tourism in a single scenic setting. It has earned several notable distinctions, including a national AAA-rated tourist attraction and a national five-star leisure agriculture and rural tourism park.
The agricultural production zone comprises 10 specialized planting areas, featuring fresh fruits such as grapes, strawberries, and dragon fruit, as well as Chinese medicinal herbs. Visitors can enjoy hands-on picking experiences and discover seasonal flavors through thoughtfully prepared farm produce gift boxes that highlight the garden's harvests.
The leisure and sightseeing area is designed with Jiangnan-style garden landscapes, including scenic spots like Fengze Wharf and Taoyuan Waterfront. The setting blends architectural elements from the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties, with the gentle beauty of the surrounding wetlands.
For visitors seeking a quiet afternoon, the fishing center offers well-maintained ponds and wooden decks right by the water, creating an inviting retreat for casting a line or simply enjoying the stillness of the views.
The park also houses a traditional Chinese medicine culture experience hall, offering interactive activities such as herbal plant identification and scented sachet making.
