Xi An Oxygen Bar
Located on Chongming Island, Xi An Oxygen Bar is a national AAA tourist attraction set across more than 26 hectares. At its heart lies an 18.67-hectare ecological forest, complemented by a 13,000-square-meter flower and fruit garden and a 1.2-hectare rose garden. Together, these landscapes form a lush, immersive retreat shaped by layers of greenery.
The site offers several lodging options, with the signature Forest Villa standing as its signature accommodation. Designed by a French architect, it harmoniously blends Southeast Asian and French influences with an eco-minded spatial layout.
Guests can take part in a wide range of activities, from viewing curated bonsai collections and tending vegetables in family garden plots to picking seasonal fruit, feeding small animals, and joining bread-making workshops. For recreation, the grounds offer a soccer pitch and tranquil forest walking paths. The integration of art and nature is evident in spaces such as the Underwood Museum, a hands-on pottery studio, and a cafe that specializes in pour-over coffee.
