I. General public budget revenue

From January to August 2024, the general public budget revenue of Shanghai Municipality totaled 601.97 billion yuan ($85.53 billion), increasing by 0.4 percent from the same period in 2023.

II. General public budget expenditure

From January to August 2024, the general public budget expenditure of Shanghai Municipality totaled 537.57 billion yuan, decreasing by 2.6 percent from the same period in 2023.
