FFC, a new shopping destination in Shanghai's Xuhui Riverside, welcomed its first visitors on Aug 12.

Built around a central green space, the shopping center integrates indoor and outdoor areas through a series of sunken plazas and vertical pathways. A staircase provides direct access from the first floor to the rooftop terrace on the third floor.

The sunken plaza on the south side of B1 can serve as an event space, an outdoor lounge, or a stepped seating area.

Other sunken plazas provide additional spaces for casual seating and outdoor activities. The 1,500-square-meter rooftop garden also offers outdoor space for office workers and visitors.

The mall's layout also caters to pet owners and cyclists. A pet-friendly area on the third floor complements PetMix Pet Park and Cat's Bathroom on B1. Pet-friendly elevators ensure smooth movement across the mall, while designated bicycle parking spaces are available for cyclists.

Outdoor sports are another major draw. The Wall provides climbing facilities for enthusiasts, while Fido offers obstacle-course activities suitable for families. Leke Fitness caters to those looking for regular workouts and training.

In addition to fitness, the mall's lifestyle offerings also include cycling, pet activities, and wellness services. The folding bicycle brand Birdy appeals to cycling enthusiasts, while PetMix offers pet-related activities. JoyFloat invites visitors to try flotation experiences, and Tai Mo Li provides Thai massage services.

At B1, the mall provides daily shopping and dining choices. One highlight is "chat & fun", a food-focused area whose name plays on the pronunciation of the phrase "having a meal" in the Shanghai dialect. There is also a market that merges fresh food shopping with informal dining.
