Editor's note: On Oct 16, the Shanghai Consumer Rights and Interests Protection Committee hosted the 2023 Shanghai Souvenir Selection Round Evaluation. The event featured 63 outstanding products from 43 enterprises that embody the city's culture and charm. These products were chosen from hundreds of entries that were collected since May, and underwent a strict screening process that took into account millions of opinions. A team of 11 experts from different domains evaluated the products according to their regional features, brand identity, user experience and other factors, as well as the consumer feedback from the previous round. The evaluation awarded 30 products with the title of "Shanghai Gold List Souvenirs". The products will be recommended as the ideal gifts for both tourists and residents.
