The Lingang Infinity Isle, spanning 0.48 square kilometers, is situated within the International Collaborative Innovation Zone in the Lingang Special Area of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone. It is a collaborative project between the Administration Committee of Lingang Special Area and Lingang Group.

The Isle is positioned as a hub for the artificial intelligence (AI) industry, emphasizing its core function as an "international data port", facilitating the openness of cross-border data circulation and value-added telecommunications services.

Key infrastructure components include cross-border data gateways, such as data centers, new internet exchange centers, international internet dedicated channels, data security centers, and cable landing stations.

The Isle plans to develop industries such as AI, integrated circuits, cloud computing, industrial Internet, intelligent connected cars, and financial technology. It strives to foster the comprehensive integration of AI technology and cross-border data applications, ultimately positioning itself as an internationally recognized first-class data port, and serving as a hub with global influence in digital economy development.
