The Shanghai International Chemical New Materials Innovation Center (INNOGREEN) is situated in the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park, spanning a planned area of 2.2 square kilometers. Its focus lies in technological innovation and applications related to new materials in key sectors such as next-generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy, energy conservation and environmental protection, and life and health.

INNOGREEN aims to build itself into a world-class green ecological comprehensive innovation base that integrates functions such as "R&D experiments, scientific research incubation, education and training, and business offices", creating an innovation ecosystem with distinctive industrial characteristics, and ultimately forming a demonstration highland for high-quality development of China's chemical industry.
