Fengxian New Chemical Material Industrial Park

The Fengxian New Chemical Material Industrial Park is situated at the southern end of Shanghai and southwest of Fengxian district. Positioned at the core of the Yangtze River Delta, it serves as a vital connection between the two major ports of Yangshan and Ningbo. To its west lies the Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone, while to the east, it is adjacent to Lingang Special Area of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone.

The planned area of the industrial park is approximately 6.56 square kilometers. It is composed of three parts: the green industry demonstration zone in Fengxian district of Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone, the new materials industrial zone, and the university town industrial park.

The park focuses on the development of new chemical materials with the characteristics of being "high-tech, new-type and first-class", including electronic chemicals, polymer composite materials, special functional chemicals, medical polymer materials, and other related industries. 

It undertakes the extension of the industrial chain of Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone and strives to build a complete industrial chain of new chemical materials on the north shore of Hangzhou Bay, forming an industrial agglomeration, and radiating and driving the development of regional economic characteristics.
