Established in 2007, Changxing Marine Equipment Industrial Park integrates such advantages as physical industries, land resources, financial support and favorable location conditions. The park is situated in the eastern part of Changxing Island in Shanghai, covering an area of 5.83 square kilometers with ample land reserves.

It neighbors a number of heavyweight enterprises, such as the China State Shipbuilding Corporation, China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company, and Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Company Limited.

Aligned with the development positioning of Changxing Island through government at all levels, the industrial park focuses on the "Marine Dream", "World Ships", and "Intelligent Manufacturing", contributing to the construction of a research-integrated marine science and technology island. The park is dedicated to building a stronghold for the international marine industry, a paradise for international small and medium-sized enterprises, and a gathering place for high-end manufacturing.
