Zhangjiang Science City holds a pivotal position within Pudong's "Golden Middle Ring Development Belt."

This park has meticulously cultivated a comprehensive industrial ecology centered around the five key components of the "Metaverse" - linkage, interaction, computation, tools, and ecology. It has successfully attracted a myriad of leading enterprises, including the likes of "Qualcomm, Xilinx, Texas Instruments, Zhiwei Robotics, Qiniu Cloud, and Shichen Xinxi," forging a unique synergy between software and hardware, the virtual and reality.

Currently, the park hosts approximately 1,600 diverse companies, contributing an impressive annual output value of around 80 billion yuan ($11.14 billion).

A series of strategic initiatives are in progress to establish key areas within the "Metaverse" framework. This includes the creation of the "Metaverse" headquarters innovation area, the "Metaverse" industrial cluster area, the "Metaverse" ecological leadership area, and the "Metaverse" scene demonstration area. The overarching goal is to position this park as a beacon for "Metaverse" technology innovation with international influence and as a highland for industrial development.

"Metaverses"-related industries in the park are expected to grow to 50 billion yuan by 2025, contributing 100 billion yuan to Pudong New Area's digital economy industry.
