Registration now open for 2025 sports events

Shanghai has launched the registration process for sports events to be held in 2025. Organizers can now submit registration information for potential events via the Government Online-Offline Shanghai platform.

Submission period:

From Nov 11 to Dec 10, 2024

How to register

Log in to the Government Online-Offline Shanghai platform, search for the "上海体育赛事信息填报(Shanghai Sports Events Registration)" item, click "立即办理(Apply Now)".

Then follow the prompts on the page to click on "国际赛事预填报(Pre-registration of International Sports Events)" or "国内预填报赛事 (Pre-registration of Domestic Sports Events)" to submit information.

Important notes:

1. Events plans that are submitted and approved will be included in the city's 2025 sports events schedule and receive certification, evaluation, and support from the Shanghai Administration of Sports.

2. Individual organizers should use personal information to log in and submit information, while organizations should use the "法人一证通 (Legal Person Identification)" to log in.

3. Organizers should submit event names, dates, venues, main organizing units, as well as other required information, and later optimize the information for public disclosure 30 days before the event starts.

4. After submission, the Shanghai Administration of Sports will review the information. Events that align with the city's development and meet the basic requirements will be included in the 2025 sports events plan.

5. Organizers should carry out specific preparations for each event in accordance with the Regulations on the Management of Sports Events, the Shanghai Sports Events Management Measures, and relevant regulations of national and municipal authorities and sports associations.
