The registration for the 2025 Shanghai Bay Area Half Marathon will open at 10 am on Feb 10.

This event, to take place on March 16, will feature a 21-kilometer course with over 4,500 participants in Jinshan district. There'll be multiple race categories, including a half marathon, fun run and a special race for entrepreneurs and elite professionals.

Race route

Starting at Bailian Jinshan Shopping Mall, the route will take you through both historic and modern areas of the district, passing landmarks such as the Mengshan Road Overpass, Jinshan Railway, the Shanghai-Hangzhou Highway, the last fishing village in Shanghai — Jinshanzui Fishing Village — the Women's Militia Sentry Post and Jinshan City Beach before finishing at the Jinshan Roller Skating Hall, home of the first-ever Asian Roller Skating Championships.
