The store is located in the Wulixiang Museum, a well-preserved Shanghai Shikumen building from the 1920s, which reflects the brand's philosophy of blending tradition and innovation.

The store consists of two floors. The first floor displays the brand's classic perfume and body care products. The second floor is a lab, where guests can learn about the perfume-making process and customize their own perfume labels. The second floor is also a lifestyle space, where guests can enjoy vegan coffee and snacks and relax in a library and a rest area.

Dr. Vranjes, a palace-level fragrance brand from Florence, Italy, has opened its first offline boutique store in China in Xintiandi. The brand, founded by the renowned perfumer Paolo Vranjes in 1983, is known for its high-end home fragrance products, such as reed diffusers and aromatherapy lamps.

The store features the brand's iconic octagonal glass bottle, inspired by the Florence Cathedral dome, which emits a soothing fragrance. The glass bottles are hand-blown by traditional craftsmen and polished by modern techniques, to offer customers the best space and olfactory experience. The store also offers a variety of scents, from floral to woody, as well as from spicy to fruity, to suit different preferences and occasions.

Hong Kong's world-renowned Peninsula Hotel – synonymous with history, culture, hospitality and luxury – has launched its first boutique and cafe outside its hotel in mainland China in Xintiandi.

The flagship store provides a unique retail and dining experience, with an outdoor seating area and a rich take-out meal selection.

The store's exclusive chocolate and oolong tea ice cream, inspired by the Peninsula Boutique's popular chocolate and tea, delights diners. Other items, such as lightly baked pastries and special coffee, are also available for take-out. The menu, created by Peninsula Boutique and Cafe chef Baptiste Villefranque and the local pastry team, mixes Chinese and Western flavors.

The retail space on the first floor has a variety of gifts, such as Peninsula XO chili sauce, handmade chocolate, famous teas, Hong Kong-style butterfly crisps, cheese egg rolls, almond slices and more.
