'Adora Magic City' launches China's first destination-free cruise in June
China's first large domestically built cruise ship, Adora Magic City, will set sail in June on a new kind of voyage — a destination-free cruise.
Unlike traditional itineraries, the ship remains at sea without making any port calls. No visa is required; passengers simply pack their bags and board.
Designed specifically for weekends, the three-day, two-night voyage caters to younger travelers, offering nonstop experiences rather than long-distance travel.
The cruise features five themed experiences — shows, parties, cocktails, sports, and food — creating a continuous celebration from day to night.
Days are filled with pop concerts, comedy shows, magic acts, and large-scale productions. At night, international DJs, live bands, and professional dancers take over with themed parties, cocktail gatherings, and dance socials.
The onboard cocktail scene is a highlight, with specialty bars open across the ship and guest bartenders from Asia's top 50 bars performing stylish flair shows. Sports enthusiasts can stay active with basketball games, team challenges, a high-altitude ropes course, and water slides.
Dining is available around the clock, from global buffets and elegant Western dinners to late-night seafood stalls and grilled snacks, ensuring something for every taste.
