SUFE International Education College seeks F1 volunteers
The International Education College at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics is recruiting student volunteers to support on-site operations for the 2026 F1 Chinese Grand Prix, scheduled from March 13 to 15 at the Shanghai International Circuit.
Volunteers will assist during both the pre-race preparation period and the race weekend, gaining valuable hands-on experience in international event coordination and real-time communication.

Pre-race days: 8 am to 8 pm
Race days: 6:30 am to 8 pm
Responsibilities
1. Provide translation and interpretation support for the teams.
2. Assist teams in inspecting, counting, and accepting borrowed equipment and facilities upon arrival in garages and team villas.
3. Support engineering and maintenance staff with translation during repairs.
4. Help coordinate the delivery and handover of temporary supplies requested by teams.
5. Assist in creating, labeling, and verifying event materials at the service center.
6. Support the finance team with deposit collection and confirmation.
7. Accompany lent equipment maintenance personnel to work sites and assist with translation.
8. Assist in completing, delivering, and documenting refueling forms for forklifts.
9. Coordinate with fuel transportation team volunteers in guiding team members to the fuel station for competition fuel and verifying their identities.
10. Confirm the return of items, including garage keys, villa access cards, and TV remotes, during the end-of-event handover, and assist the finance team with deposit refunds.
11. Compile and confirm lists and costs of borrowed items with the teams for final billing and the issuance of a proforma invoice.
12. Adapt to rotating shifts as required.
13. Help coordinate meals, shuttles, accommodation, and schedules for the volunteer team.
Requirements
1. Language skills
Fluent in spoken and written English
2. Attitude
Hardworking, positive, and enthusiastic about contributing to the event
3. Availability
Must be available full-time from March 3 to 15, 2026. No leave will be permitted during this period.
Note: Due to the operational planning required for this international event, we cannot accept any temporary withdrawals once your application is confirmed.

7. Selection process
- Preliminary screening based on application materials by the student service center
- First-round interview: Language and comprehensive skills assessment by the language faculty. The exact time will be communicated separately.
- Second-round interview: Scheduled for Oct 27 to 31, 2025

1.Full attendance is required throughout the event. No leave is granted during working days. Accommodation will be provided.
