Shanghai International Travel Healthcare Center is assigned legally with the health administration of people who go across the Chinese border in Shanghai. At the same time, it is also a comprehensive medical and healthcare institution integrating services of health examination and evaluation, immunization and vaccination, travel health consultation and international medical assistance, and has leading medical diagnosis means, advanced testing equipment and strong technical force foundation. 

Physical verification for expats and overseas Chinese

【Applicants】

Physical examination applicants are expats who are applying for living, working or studying for a year or more.

Those who have the physical examination records issued by overseas medical institutions (done within last 6 months) only need physical verification.

Shanghai International Travel Healthcare Center. Ground floor of Building 1, No 15 Jinbang Road, Changning district, Shanghai.

【Open】

8 am to 11 am, Monday to Friday.

And, based on the number of applicants, we provide extra service on the afternoons from Monday to Thursday, and on Saturday flexibly.

【Reservation】

Applicants should make reservation in at least two weeks advance.

There're two ways to make reservation:

1. Reservation online:

2. Or you can do it face to face at both lobbies of Bldg.1 and Bldg.3, No 15 Jinbang Road.

【Documents】

(1) A valid original passport or travel document, and photocopies of the photo-page, visa-page and info.-update-page of your passport or travel document

(2) Three recent 2-inch photos (full face without hat)

(3) Original physical examination records issued by overseas medical institutions (done within last 6 months).

【Relative Documents】

1. Applying for working visa: an original and photocopy of the certificate issued by SAFEA and company's business license or registration certificate.

2. Applying for studying visa: an original and photocopy of students ID or admission notice.

3. For accompanying family members: a photocopy of family members' business license.

4. For visiting, house-purchasing, marriage, medical treatment or other purpose: an original and photocopy of real estate certificate or registration form of temporary accommodation issued by police station affiliated to the local community.

5. If you have an overseas health check report issued within 6 months, please bring all the original documents including Chest X ray film and laboratory result.

【Certificate-collecting】

There are two ways to collect your certificate:

1. In person.

In four working days after the examination, applicants can go to the certificate-collecting window in person with valid IDs and the examination receipts.

2. By courier.

After the examination, applicants can also sign up for courier services to deliver your certificates to the appointed addresses after four working days.

To ensure the safety and privacy of your examination certificates, applicants must go to the certificate-collecting window in person to change the way of collecting your certificates.

【Reexamination】

We will send a notice to those whose results are abnormal. Upon receiving the notice, applicants should go to the appointed department for reexamination within the stated period of time with valid ID and the examination receipt.

【Attentions】

1. Please keep fasting for at least 5 hours. (Except for the water)

2. You may bring with you the detailed overseas health check report (including Chest X ray film and laboratory result) which should be within 6 months if you have.
