On Feb 5, Toyota Motor Corporation announced the establishment of a wholly-owned company in Shanghai's Jinshan district. The new company will be dedicated to the research, development, and production of Lexus electric vehicles and batteries. This move highlights China's appeal to foreign investment.
Jinshan welcomes global investors, including Japanese companies, to invest in the area. It will collaborate with relevant municipal departments to continuously enhance the implementation of national policies to expand opening-up and create a top-class business environment that is market-oriented, law-based, and international.
The district will help solve practical matters for enterprises, and provide high-quality, efficient, and precise services for all types of businesses, including foreign enterprises, investing in it.
