Syngenta and Jinshan deliver on Shanghai speed
Syngenta Group received the land use permit and the real estate ownership certificate for its global crop protection innovation center on Aug 1, after it finalized the land transfer agreement with Shanghai's Jinshan district on the same day.
Headquartered in Switzerland, Syngenta is a global leader in agricultural science and technology, dedicated to advancing modern farming through the R&D, production, and commercialization of crop protection, seeds, and crop nutrition products. The new innovation center in Jinshan is expected to begin operations by 2028.
To support the project, the Jinshan district bureau of planning and natural resources appointed a seasoned "chief registration officer" to lead the service team. Attentive to the company's requirements, the team continues to offer procedural guidance, coordinate various resources, and resolve potential bottlenecks.
Immediately after the land transfer contract was signed, all the application materials for the land use permit and real estate ownership certificate were submitted, verified, and processed online by local authorities.
The rapid completion of formalities reflects not an isolated success but the hallmarks of Jinshan's optimized service model. It stands as a clear example of Shanghai's commitment to delivering efficient, high-quality support for international investors.
