The Republic of Seychelles is an archipelagic nation comprising 115 islands in the Indian Ocean off East Africa. It boasts picturesque scenery, lush rainforests, and rich biodiversity. Seychelles also has abundant fisheries resources, with tuna and sea cucumbers among its fishery exports.

As China and Seychelles mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2026, Seychelles will use the CIIE platform to showcase its unique island landscapes, rare products, and vast potential for bilateral cooperation across trade, culture, and tourism.
