How to apply:

Parents of students who want to transfer to a school in Changning district must submit all required materials.

In principle, after an application is reviewed and the student is assigned to a school, the receiving school will notify parents to complete registration no later than Aug 31, 2025.

Documents to prepare for international students:

• One parent working in Shanghai, holding the original and a copy of the Foreigner's Work Permit;
• One parent's original and a copy of a long-term (one year or more) residence permit in Shanghai;
• Original and copies of passports for one parent and the student;
• Valid proof of residence in Changning district: original and copies of the property ownership certificate, Shanghai real estate registration certificate, or registered lease contract filing certificate;
• The student's birth certificate;
• Relevant academic records.

Parents of international students also must fill out the application registration form and submit the form along with other application materials.
