Expats celebrate New Year in Shanghai

As the clock struck midnight in Shanghai, international visitors were partying hard at New Year's Eve events across the vibrant city.
They participated in the New Year's bell-ringing ceremony at Longhua Temple, welcomed the first rays of sunlight in 2025 from the Shanghai Tower, and explored the Oriental Pearl Tower. They also experienced folklore activities recognized as intangible cultural heritage.
