Shanghai Book Fair celebrates global literature

The 2026 Shanghai Book Fair, running from Aug 12 to 18, features Shanghai International Literary Week as a major highlight.
The event has brought together writers and scholars from more than 10 countries, including the United Kingdom, Colombia, Vietnam, the United States, and Germany. These cross-cultural dialogues have created a truly global celebration of literature in Shanghai.
