Lantern Festival, which falls on Feb 24 this year, is a time-honored Chinese holiday celebrated on the 15th day of the lunar New Year. It also marks the grand finale of Chinese New Year festivities.

The annual lantern show at Yuyuan Garden, one of China's national intangible cultural heritages, is a key holiday highlight in Shanghai during the Spring Festival celebration.
It runs from 2 pm to 10 pm until Feb 21, and from 10 am to 10 pm from Feb 22 to 25. Tickets are available online.

The fair showcases various dragon-themed lanterns across Xinzhuang, which tell the story of the creation of the dragon totem, inspired by Fuxi, a legendary ancestor of China. This year, the festival features themed lanterns placed in key areas for easy public access and enjoyment.
