The 2024 Shanghai Peach Blossom Festival will be held in the vibrant Pudong New Area from March 29 to April 15.

The festival's promotional event, held from March 15 to 17 at the Oriental Pearl Tower Urban Square, offered a glimpse into the upcoming festivities.

The promotional roadshow showcased various micro-tourism products and exclusive offers that will be offered at the festival. These products include rural tourism routes for flower appreciation, delectable peach blossom pastries capturing the essence of the season, and peach blossom-themed souvenirs blending artistry with tradition.

In a bid to captivate younger audiences, the festival has partnered with the online gaming community of Three Kingdoms: The World Conqueror on China's popular social media platform Bilibili. This collaboration introduces a program that invites gamers to explore villages with peach blossoms in the Pudong New Area, revel in the blossoms, and then venture to expansive peach orchards. It also offers tree adoption and peach home delivery services.

This marketing initiative aims to invigorate rural economic development through the Shanghai Peach Blossom Festival, bolstering local peach farmers and their sales. Furthermore, it seeks to seamlessly blend virtual and real experiences through the peach blossom theme, creating a novel cultural and tourism event.

Art and cultural institutions such as the Pudong Art Museum will also play a pivotal role in the festival, presenting creative derivatives from internationally acclaimed exhibitions, including A Century of Surrealism: Masterpieces from the National Galleries of Scotland and Caravaggio and the Miracle of Baroque.
