Embrace spring at Chongming Flower Festival in Shanghai

As flowers bloom and the verdant landscape comes alive, it heralds the arrival of the annual Chongming Flower Festival in Shanghai scheduled to take place from March 21 until May 5.

This year, Dongping National Forest Park, the festival's main venue, will host a diverse range of activities throughout the period, inviting you to join in the excitement.

Furthermore, from March 21 to 31, visitors wearing hanfu, or traditional Chinese attire, can enjoy free admission. Come to the park and capture the beauty of spring!

 

Flower Viewing Guide

Dongping National Forest Park is now a symphony of springtime delights. The vibrant tulips blaze like fire, the eye-catching purple flowers (orychophragmus violaceus) exude an elegant allure, and the cherry blossoms create a scene reminiscent of clouds and snow. This kaleidoscope of colors and dreamlike beauty makes it nearly impossible for visitors to tear themselves away.

 

Tulips

Peacock flying performance

Sika deer parade
