Cangcheng Historical and Cultural Block
The Cangcheng Historical and Cultural Block in Shanghai's Songjiang district spans 79.22 hectares and boasts well-preserved traditional streets, alleys and historic buildings.
It was once a vital grain storage area and thriving commercial center during the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911). The area is home to 127 cultural relics protection spots – making it the best-preserved and most concentrated historic zone in Songjiang district.
