How to get a tourist invitation letter for China
According to the relevant regulations, for inbound tourist groups of five people or more, the domestic travel agency responsible for reception may apply to the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism for a group tourism invitation letter.
For tourism visits involving fewer than five people, the receiving travel agency may issue an individual invitation letter directly.
It is recommended that you contact a licensed travel agency in China to arrange your itinerary and request the appropriate invitation letter based on your travel plan.
