As part of the ongoing 2025 Shanghai Summer International Consumption Season, Putuo district will coordinate with major shopping areas to roll out a series of events for visitors from home and abroad, fully showcasing the vitality and charm of Shanghai in summer.

Running through October, the consumption season will include family-friendly entertainment, tech-themed experiences, cultural displays, and more.

The main event will be held at the Shanghai Global Harbor, a large-scale integrated shopping mall, with a focus on "nighttime consumption", "inbound tourism", "automotive lifestyle", "international anime month", "cruise economy", and more.

In addition, the consumption season in Putuo will feature a variety of brand launches, premieres, exhibitions, and other consumer activities, combining culture, tourism, sports, and entertainment.

Shanghai Global Harbor will host IP-themed flash events and diverse cultural experiences, while Shanghai Zhenru Unipark Max shopping mall will create a summer paradise blending family-friendly activities with technology. Changfeng Joy City will launch the "Oasis Flash Water Park" activity starting on July 10, offering a cool summer escape. Both TOP Central Park and Half-Marathon Suzhou Creek Park will introduce nighttime consumption activities.

Since the beginning of the year, inbound tourists and consumption in Shanghai have been on the rise. To facilitate departure tax refunds for overseas tourists, Putuo has set up 19 tax refund shops and six instant "refund upon purchase" stores.
