The first national exhibition of Fuggler, the quirky "toothy monster" toy brand, has arrived at The Place, a shopping center in Shanghai's Changning district.

Fuggler was first created by British artist Louise McGettrick, who began stitching plush monsters with artificial human teeth just for fun. The weirdly adorable toys went viral online and later became a global hit after toy maker Spin Master brought them to the mass market.

The exhibition brims with creativity and playful interaction. The ceiling is adorned with playful button teeth and googly eyes, transforming the venue into a whimsical, childlike world. At the entrance, a giant movable tooth installation paired with oversized toothbrush props allows visitors join a hands-on "tooth-brushing" game. Nearby, a flip-page science wall turns dental care tips into an engaging learning experience.

At the heart of the exhibition, a giant toy-box ball pit has become a joyful playground for kids, while the adjacent "fun camp" features three creative zones. Children can design their own monster characters, or work with parents to craft yarn creations that spark imagination and bonding.

Running through early December, the event also includes a Fuggler pop-up store, where visitors can take home exclusive themed merchandise as a quirky souvenir.
