The 2026 Hongqiao International Coffee Culture Festival opened on May 9, featuring a series of interactive events, markets, and competitions for coffee lovers, trend followers, and visitors.

Running through June 24, the festival will present three themed routes focused on business, tourism, exhibitions, and international exchange.

More than 60 booths featuring coffee, traditional snacks, and character-themed displays.

Hongqiao International Coffee Industry Ecosystem Conference

Focuses on cooperation between the tea and coffee industries, as well as new developments in the coffee sector.

Viva Latino

When: June 5-7 and June 12-14

Where: The Hub

Features maté tea, wine, tango performances, and premium Latin American coffee.

10-Country Premium Coffee Tasting

When: May 10-14

Where: Hongqiao Transportation Hub

Visitors can sample coffee beans from 10 countries.

Yunnan Products Promotion Event

When: May 15-17

Where: Hongqiao Libao Plaza

Features live fire-brewed coffee demonstrations and coffee-boiled eggs.

Professional events include barista competitions, a global green coffee bean contest, an industry conference, a robot latte art competition, and an invitational competition. Most events are free and open to the public.

Visitors can also take part in a landmark check-in activity through an online consumption map for a chance to join daily lucky draws.
