The 8th China International Import Expo, taking place from Nov 5 to 10, is preparing for a stylish showcase. No pavilion captures that spirit more than the consumer goods exhibition area, widely regarded as the most fashionable and trendsetting section of the event.

According to organizers, this year's pavilion is designed around three themes: new lifestyle, cool technology, and chic trends, spanning an impressive 84,000 square meters. It brings together more than 700 companies from over 70 countries and regions, featuring everything from innovative tech wearables to lifestyle products that reflect the pulse of modern consumer culture.

Returning exhibitors are also stepping up with fresh ideas and first launches. The balancing, a fashion buyer store under local retail giant Bailian Group, will showcase more than 400 products from 80 brands across 17 countries, alongside five exclusive product launch events.

Beauty powerhouse Amorepacific is bringing seven of its iconic brands, including Sulwhasoo, Laneige, and Innisfree, with 20 China debuts and 100 China-first showcases.

Uniqlo will unveil several global premieres featuring cutting-edge apparel technology and offer its first-ever hand embroidery service at the expo.

Meanwhile, Johnson Health Tech will introduce world-premiere fitness products, including treadmills, elliptical trainers, massage chairs, and strength equipment for home use.

Altogether, the pavilion will feature more than 100 new product launches during the six-day event, further cementing its role as a leading stage for the debut economy.

This year's exhibition design also introduces a series of exciting themed zones.

For the first time, a CIIE sports park will offer an interactive experience area showcasing sports and fitness innovations, including new additions focused on the ice and snow industry.

Another first is the pet-themed display area, where visitors can explore immersive, scene-based showcases of premium global pet products, shifting the focus from simple product trading to emotional and experiential consumption that reimagines the future of pet care.

The home and household appliances section will also spotlight the silver economy, with companies such as Panasonic and Ikea presenting senior-friendly products designed to enhance the quality of life for older folks.
