As the 8th China International Import Expo approaches, Shanghai is embracing the festive spirit with a citywide shopping and lifestyle carnival.

From art exhibitions and cultural showcases to outdoor sports and pet-friendly fairs, these events invite both CIIE guests and local residents to experience the city's creativity, energy, and vibrancy before, during, and after the expo.

 

Theme 1: Silk Road E-commerce

This one-day showcase brings Brazilian coffee straight from the source, with plantation owners presenting their beans firsthand. First National Exhibition of Fuggler

The first national exhibition of Fuggler, the quirky plush monsters, has arrived at The Place shopping zone, offering an immersive adventure that breaks the mold of traditional displays. Fuggler was created by British artist Louise McGettrick, who whimsically combined human false teeth with soft toys. The exhibition design is full of playful details and interactive fun. Overhead displays featuring tooth-shaped buttons and cute googly eyes surround visitors, immersing them in a world of childlike wonder. Attendees can also shop for Fuggler-themed merchandise and take home a one-of-a-kind creative souvenir.

 

Autumn IS International Theatre Season

The 2025 Autumn IS International Theatre Season brings together 54 performances across 10 productions from six countries, including Belgium, Germany, and France. Each show makes its Shanghai, China, or Asian premiere. Panlong Xintiandi presents the Chill Qiu event, inviting visitors to experience the cozy side of the autumn season. Fengxian Seasonal Dining Experience
