The Shanghai Film Museum showcases the charm of Shanghai-related films over the past century, with displays interpreting the stories of filmmakers, film-related events and the backstories behind these films.

The museum covers 15,000 square metres and serves various functions, including the collection of cultural relics, academic research, public education and display.
