The Fengxian Museum intricately showcases Fengxian's rich history, which dates back to the Neolithic Era. It has separated its exhibitions into distinct sections that provide unique insights into the region's heritage. This includes the museum's History Hall and Haitang Hall.
"Haitang" refers to man-made tidal dykes that act as crucial barriers along the coastal strip. The Fengxian Museum's Haitang Hall delves into the construction logic, evolution, and the impact on Shanghai's social and economic development.
