The Shining Shanghai Light Up Jing'an festival is illuminating the night sky with its signature Spring Festival light shows across West Nanjing Road and Suhewan commercial areas.

The light shows link key landmarks such as Jiuguang Pedestrian Street, Jing'an Park, and Jing'an Temple Square, transforming the bustling commercial area into a radiant spectacle.

Traditional lanterns and avant-garde light installations blend to create a stunning fusion of old and new. Every snapshot is a masterpiece of modern Chinese New Year aesthetics.

 

Jing'an Temple Square

Accompanied by festive Chinese New Year tunes, the Spring Melody light show opens with a colorful and rhythmic display. The Serpentine Glow installation, featuring a neon-colored snake stretching in an arched form, exudes both fluidity and futuristic charm.

 

Jing'an Park

Jing'an Park is a dreamy winter wonderland where starlight and "snowflakes" intertwine, creating a romantic first-snow ambiance. Laser beams dance through the trees, casting an enchanting glow over every leaf.

Nearby, the Floating Lights Shadow Play represents iconic Jing'an landmarks, such as Jing'an Temple and the Shanghai Exhibition Center, through shadow puppetry. For a hands-on experience, visitors can participate in a printmaking activity to create their own lucky keepsakes.

The light show Spring Returns to Jing'an takes over the Suhewan waterfront, covering four chapters: Vibrant Nature, Flourishing Blooms, New Year's Blessings, and City Eat.
