The National Fintech Certification Shanghai Center has been established in Huangpu district, marking a new step in strengthening Shanghai's fintech infrastructure, according to the Bund FTC Fintech Ecosystem Partner Conference held on Jan 8. The center will focus on fintech testing and certification services.

Affiliated with China Financial Computerization Group Co Ltd, the center represents a strategic initiative supported by the People's Bank of China to advance the development of fintech certification in Shanghai.

Its core areas of work include fintech testing and certification, financial data security, large-scale model financial applications, and digital green finance, reflecting emerging priorities in the sector.

The center aims to enhance compliance among financial institutions and fintech companies, promote industrial integration, showcase technological achievements, and support the continued expansion of Shanghai's fintech ecosystem.
