The Huaxi Lake area, resembling a green ribbon encircling the entire park, allows visitors to explore nature by kayaking and paddleboarding through verdant waterways. Visitors can also enjoy fishing by casting a lure from a boat at a lakeside spot. Various activities for hands-on experiences are available at the Weizhi Equestrian Club, Qian Xiaoju Creative Farm, and Pumpkin Field Sports Camp.

As one of the first parks in the city to be recognized as a National 4A Tourist Attraction, the park leverages its natural advantages to create an enjoyable and educational rural environment. Visitors can sprint across green fields, leap through forest shrubs, and pick fresh fruit and vegetables, immersing themselves in nature's bounty. The Marine Defense Patriotic Education and Research Base and Changxing Island Museum offer various immersive experiences and tours.

Pet paradise

As an all-region pet-friendly park, Changxing Island Country Park boasts a rare 10-hectare lawn with open views under the sunshine, providing a delightful experience. Visitors can bring their own tents and food to enjoy the soft grass and bright sunshine, while their dogs can frolic freely. Near the Plum Garden, there is a designated "Natural Imprint" camping area by the lake, offering an ecological and pleasant setting with complete supporting facilities.

Unique hotel

The Qianwei 1966 Hotel, known for its distinctive retro style, remains highly popular. The hotel also features an outdoor BBQ area.
