Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park, a national AAAA tourist attraction, is home to over 100,000 rare marine animals. Opened in 2018, it features five themed areas: Mermaid Bay, Polar Town, Ice and Snow Kingdom, Undersea Wonder, and Ocean Tribe.

The park boasts six star shows, 10 amusement facilities, and six animal exhibition halls. It also hosts cultural performances such as the "Blue Star Fleet: Sea and Land Mecha Parade". Launched in the summer of 2022, this parade features an original ocean story that integrates with the park's environment and architecture, guiding visitors through a magical ocean world with dynamic day and night transitions.

The park has also opened the world's first Ultraman-themed area, offering a one-stop experience for sightseeing, dining, shopping, and entertainment. This area includes the world's first Ultraman-themed pavilion, China's first Ultra Energy Station, China's first Ultraman Electronic Music Plaza, China's first Ultraman theater (Ice Theater), China's first Ultraman-themed restaurant, and China's first Ultraman-themed hotel.

In addition to the Ultraman Hotel, the park includes the Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park Resort Hotel.

Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park also features China's first themed area based on the Japanese animated series One Piece. Designed with One Piece elements, this area includes a shop, a restaurant, and a cafe, offering visitors an immersive One Piece-themed experience that combines dining, shopping, and interactive entertainment for a surprising and delightful visit.
