The 2026 Shanghai Wine & Spirits Festival will take place from May 13 to 19 in Hongkou district, offering wine tastings, interactive experiences, and shopping across three major shopping areas. The event invites locals and visitors to follow the aroma of wine and explore Shanghai's diverse nightlife.

The main venue at Bellagio by MGM Shanghai serves as a high-end starting point. Restaurant Lago and Cafe Bellagio will offer a happy hour free-flow deal daily from 6 pm to 8 pm. For 99 yuan ($14.57) per person, guests can enjoy unlimited Tsingtao beer and selected Chardonnay and Shiraz wines while taking in views of Suzhou Creek.

At the North Bund shopping area, SMP Mall will host four popular restaurants. From 4 pm until late, Fig & Olive, Tapa Tapa, and Lenbach will offer buy-one-get-one deals on selected glasses of wine, while PlaygroundX will extend the same offer to selected cocktails, adding a festive touch to the riverside evening.

The North Sichuan Road shopping area at Life Hub @ Bund Central will spotlight youthful, trendy culture. ARK Live House will feature two signature cocktails:

  • How to Compare You to a Summer's Day — bitter melon gin, lemongrass, green apple, basil
  • Transparent House — Lindemans, pepper gin, rose-flavored green grapes, camellia

Each cocktail is priced at 58 yuan per glass. Craft beer lovers can visit Goose Island Taproom to sample any beer for 48 yuan per serving.

At Ruihong Xintiandi's Hall of the Moon, Vinup Brunch & Bistro will offer a three-hour global wine tasting for 99 yuan per person, featuring 40 wines. Meanwhile, Shear Madness Salon Theater will pair comedy with drinks, offering the second glass at half price: 59 yuan for one glass and 88 yuan for two.
