Terrace 9:15, Fairmont Peace Hotel

Recently reopened, Terrace 9:15 on the ninth floor of the Fairmont Peace Hotel carries forward the legacy of the 1930s social hotspot formerly known as the "Terrace 9:15 Club". The venue provides sweeping views of Huangpu district, the Bund's historic architecture, and the Lujiazui skyline. Visitors can enjoy the bustling city by day and glittering lights by night, making every frame a perfect city postcard.

Sir Elly's Terrace, The Peninsula Shanghai

Situated on the 14th floor of The Peninsula Shanghai, Sir Elly's Terrace features a distinctive U-shaped design overlooking the Huangpu River, Suzhou Creek, Waibaidu Bridge, and the futuristic Lujiazui skyline. A perennial favorite among Shanghai's trendsetters, this venue has recently reopened for the rooftop season. Guests can savor signature cocktails and curated small plates while watching sunset views and the city lights at night.

Top One Roof rooftop bistro

Perched atop the historic Asia Building, constructed in 1916 and celebrated as "the first building on the Bund", TOR rooftop bistro offers a modern continuation of a century-old legacy. The main terrace provides a 270° panoramic view of the Lujiazui skyline, ideal for daytime sightseeing, evening blue-hour sunsets, or neon-lit nights. The west terrace emphasizes privacy with seating surrounded by greenery, while the east terrace is designed for lively gatherings with friends amid the glow of the Bund's iconic buildings.

Highline

Highline in Xintiandi is a city favorite for daytime brunches, afternoon tea, or evening dinners. Its 270° rooftop offers views of tropical greenery and urban landscapes, creating a scene that blurs the line between Manhattan and Shanghai. The menu features items such as slow-roasted steak and lemon chiffon cake, best served with sunlight, a gentle breeze, and the city's vibrant charm.
