Lu Xun Park, formerly known as Hongkou Park, is a historic cultural and memorial park spanning 22.37 hectares in Shanghai's Hongkou district. Blending traditional Chinese garden aesthetics with the charm of a Western landscape park, it boasts both historical significance and natural beauty.

The park is divided into three main sections:

Cultural memorial zone (central area)

This section features key landmarks such as the Tomb of Lu Xun, a major historical and cultural site protected at the national level, and Meiyuan Garden, which is dedicated to Korean independence activist Yun Bong-gil. It also houses the Shanghai Luxun Museum and the World Literary Giant Square, reflecting the park's rich cultural legacy.

Open public zone (south & north)

The southern section features a spacious plaza and a children's playground covering nearly 2 hectares. The northern section includes a 3-hectare fitness area designed to accommodate visitors of all ages.

Scenic leisure belt

Centered around Tian'ai Lake, this area highlights seasonal landscapes, including cherry blossoms in spring, lotus flowers in summer, red maples in autumn, and fragrant plum blossoms in winter, making it a picturesque retreat year-round.
