The 2024 National Silk Road E-commerce Selection Week is underway in Shanghai, running from Nov 7 to 13. The event brings together e-commerce platforms, enterprises, shopping malls, livestreaming hubs, and trade agencies for a week of special promotions.

More than 30 events will spotlight popular items from the China International Import Expo, unique products from partner countries, and new digital shopping experiences.

Chile, Thailand, Argentina, Australia, and Uzbekistan each have a themed day during the event, featuring wines, seafood, leather goods, and handicrafts from these countries. These items will be available at discounted prices and presented through livestreams and special online showcases.

Among the popular products from around the world are over 100 Southeast Asian coffees, over 1,000 South American wines, a variety of Silk Road foods, and numerous Central Asian travel products. An on-site Silk Road E-commerce Market will offer over 5,000 items from 30 countries featured in previous expos.

At the opening ceremony on Nov 7, representatives from Ctrip, Freshippo, Eleme, Dingdong Maicai, and Greenland Global Commodity Trading Hub shared key event highlights, marking a new step forward in Silk Road e-commerce and international exchange.
