The Place is a shopping center located in the Changning district of Shanghai that has been serving the community since its opening in 2014.

To mark its 10th anniversary, The Place has partnered with German designer Yeye Weller to launch a public art season. Weller's installations, which turn everyday objects into interactive art, can be found throughout the center. Notable features include a large donut sculpture on the rooftop and characters from the Yeye Band, a fictional musical ensemble created by the artist.

In addition to its artistic installations, The Place hosts a range of activities and promotions, including seasonal markets and family-friendly events.

The outdoor Fengshang Street offers an open-air space for shopping and relaxation, while the North Zone's Art Plan fosters a creative environment for visitors to explore.

Sustainability is also an important focus at The Place. In the past years, The Place has implemented initiatives such as PET bottle recycling, supporting charitable causes and hosting eco-themed events. The recent addition of a Habitat Garden has further highlighted its commitment to integrating nature into the urban experience.
