The new 96 Plaza, a flagship development by Lujiazui Group, is set to open on Dec 27 in Chuansha Ancient Town — located in Shanghai's Pudong New Area.

The entire complex, which has a floor space of 520,000 square meters, will combine retail, office and residential spaces.

The plaza's 35,000-sq m commercial retail area has as its theme "A Warm Place for Gatherings" — with key features including quality living, family-friendly spaces and pet-friendly amenities.

Pudong is also introducing several regional firsts:

 ALDI Supermarket: Providing fresh, affordable groceries along with convenient delivery services.

 Spring International Cinema: Pudong's first Dolby Atmos-equipped theater, featuring special themed designs and immersive experiences.

 Xingjuhui KTV: Personalized entertainment spaces designed for Gen Z.

Additionally, the plaza will host Chuansha's first Starbucks pet-friendly concept store and an outlet of popular Chinese bubble tea chain Naixue.

Designed with a semi-open layout, 96 Plaza is said to integrate pedestrian-friendly features, multiple ground-level entrances and a bridge connecting the commercial area to the office and residential spaces.

A children's area and Chuansha's first glasses-free 3D display is expected to further enhance its appeal as a family-friendly hub.
