There was loads of excitement and fun when big new commercial complex Oasis Smart Valley | Huayuanli opened on Dec 27, marking the addition of a premier commercial landmark in Shanghai's Qingpu district.

Conveniently located above Middle Jiasong Road station on Metro Line 17, the shopping mall spans over 50,000 square meters. The newly opened northern section of the mall alone covers more than 30,000 sq m.

On its opening day, the lively atmosphere attracted a big crowd of locals and employees from nearby industrial parks.

"We've been looking forward to this for a long time. It's so convenient now — just a short walk downstairs and we can shop and dine all in one place," said one resident.

"With the New Year approaching, it's perfect for hosting family and friends," she added.

To celebrate the opening, Oasis Smart Valley | Huayuanli collaborated with leading contemporary Chinese artist Jiang Zai to launch the Wonderful Masterpiece Art Museum exhibition in Shanghai.

The exhibition features creative photo opportunities inspired by iconic paintings by some of the world's greatest painters — works like Starry Night, Girl with a Pearl Earring and the Mona Lisa.

Visitors can also enjoy a variety of engaging activities, such as the Give Them a Home stray animal photography exhibition, providing an interactive experience across different themes and settings.
