A new lifestyle hub called DYF has opened in Jiading New City — one of Shanghai's "five new cities" — just 200 meters from Metro Line 11's Jiading New City Station.

Shanghai's five new cities are a core part of a planned development strategy that aims to transform five suburban districts — including Jiading district — into independent, self-sufficient urban centers.

The new Jiading district complex brings together dining, leisure and social experiences — creating a vibrant and fresh hangout for local residents and visitors alike.

Located east of Yungu Road and north of Demao Road, DYF sits adjacent to key residential areas and commercial landmarks such as Wanda Plaza.

Covering a total area of 4,000 square meters over three floors, the project is designed to meet the daily needs of residents within a one kilometer radius.

From trendy eateries to post-work fitness options, DYF is said to offer a dynamic space beyond home and office. Visitors can explore a variety of brands already operating in the complex — including Subway, Youpin fresh food supermarket, Nabobess beauty salon, SHZJ foot spa and more.

In addition to its indoor offerings, DYF features a 2,000-square-meter plaza that is being developed into a public space centered around the DYF Market.

This open-air zone will offer snacks and delicacies, handicrafts and trendy products sold by independent vendors, creating a lively night market atmosphere.

With flexible spaces and creative content, the market aims to foster a fresh sense of community and nightlife in Jiading — reflecting the area's growing appetite for stylish and convenient urban living.
