Retail complex Prisma opened on June 30 in Jinqiao town, Pudong New Area, adding a new shopping and lifestyle destination to Shanghai.

One of the mall's biggest draws is its strong lineup of first stores. According to the operator, 78 percent of its signed brands are either first stores or distinctive retail formats.

The mall features themed spaces across multiple levels. On the G level, the 100-meter Star Walk fashion boulevard showcases international beauty and lifestyle brands. Other highlights include the 4,600-square-meter Prisma Garden on the rooftop and a 200-meter food street on the LG level dedicated to carb-rich comfort foods.

The Star Walk boulevard on the G level is home to more than 10 premium beauty and international retail brands. Shoppers can find products from L'Oreal Group's Helena Rubinstein, Lancome, Yves Saint Laurent Beauty, and SkinCeuticals, as well as Estee Lauder Companies' La Mer, Tom Ford Beauty, and MAC Cosmetics, alongside Clarins, Nars, and Fancl. Chinese fragrance brands, including Documents, also offer collections inspired by Eastern aesthetics. The retail lineup is complemented by lifestyle brands such as lululemon, Theory, Michael Kors, and Hechter Paris.

The mall is notable for its expansive public areas. The Floating Island Atrium spans levels L4 to L6 under a large dome, featuring a 16.8-meter indoor waterfall, natural light, and abundant greenery, offering one of the building's most iconic sights.

Another prominent area, the Deep Sea Atrium, links eight floors beneath a shell-shaped skylight. Sunlight streams through this opening, producing a striking 55-meter-high vertical view.

Beyond shopping, Prisma offers a range of themed experiences. Under the "Wonder Planet" concept, the mall has launched an immersive prehistoric dinosaur exhibition that blends ancient life with a futuristic setting. The exhibition features scientifically reconstructed, life-size dinosaur models based on the latest paleontological research.

Visitors can observe Yutyrannus, Tarbosaurus, Tyrannosaurus rex, Quetzalcoatlus, Triceratops, and dozens of other prehistoric creatures across the Fire Atrium on L1, the Ice Atrium on L3, and the Floating Island Atrium on L4.

From June 30 to July 12, the mall is also hosting a jazz festival in partnership with JZ Music. Performances take place throughout the day at multiple locations, including the Gravity Atrium on the G level, the LG level of the Deep Sea Atrium, the Floating Island Atrium on L4, and Prisma Garden on L6.

The festival includes live performances, swing dancing, jazz salons, and small-scale concerts, giving visitors the chance to enjoy music while exploring the mall.
