Program introduction:

Program duration:

July 8 – Aug 16, 2024 (six weeks)

Class time: Monday to Friday 8:30 am-11:45 am, 20 class hours per week (1 class hour = 45 minutes)

Sample timetable:

1. Comprehensive Chinese: Through listening, speaking, reading and writing language skills training, you will improve the ability to use vocabulary, grammar structures, and corresponding Chinese characters.

2. Chinese-speaking: Through spoken language training, you will improve your ability to orally communicate in Chinese.

3. Cultural experience: Deepen your understanding of Chinese society and culture through cultural learning, city visits and other practical activities.

4. One-on-one speaking tutor (elective): A reservation system is adopted, with six spots per class per week. Students can sign up and have a one-on-one conversation with the teacher for about 15 minutes after booking an appointment. The conversation will focus on the topic of the previous week's class or cultural experience and students will receive targeted guidance.

5. Fundamentals of Chinese characters (elective): The teacher will explain the strokes, stroke order, radicals, and meaning of Chinese characters, and students will improve their ability to recognize and write Chinese characters through writing drills, dictation, and games based on their understanding.
