2024 Belt and Road Senior Training Program at Shanghai University
Program objectives
> Discuss urban construction in the new era with talents from countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative via lectures and seminars.
> Enhance exchanges and cooperation in economics, culture, and education via discussions.
> Explore opportunities from the community with a shared future under the Belt and Road Initiative through virtual tours of enterprises and project investigations.
> Since the Belt and Road Initiative was proposed in 2013, it has been popular and responsive around the world. Shanghai is a transportation hub of China and a global financial city exhibiting China’s prosperity and economic development. In this program, along with various lectures, workshops, in-depth cultural discussions, and company visits, students will have the chance to exchange ideas with experts at home and abroad and brainstorm with other students of international backgrounds.

Application materials (PDF or JPG form, etc.):
1. Information page of passport
2. ID photo (less than 100kb)
3. Highest degree certificate
4. English proficiency certificate
5. Curriculum vitae
6. A letter of recommendation signed by the current employer or professor who can recommend the work or academic performance
7. A student visa to study in China

Application procedures
Step 1. Apply via https://apply.shu.edu.cn.
Step 2. Select "Non-degree Program"- "Summer School"-"2024 The Belt and Road Senior Training Program".
Step 3. Upload materials then submit.
Step 4. Choose "Pay application fee when arrive”.
Step 5. Admission notice received within 15 working days.
Scholarship
It includes tuition fee, activity fees, accommodation (single room), and accident insurance fee for the duration of the trip. The scholarship quota is 20.
*Free accommodation is provided during the program period, 21 nights in total. Self-funded for extra stay.
