On June 27, the 2024 Chinese Bridge Summer Camp for students from the Confucius Institute at Tallinn University (CITU), in Estonia, commenced at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE).

Dean Dong Jing of the School of International Cultural Exchange warmly welcomed the visiting teachers and students from Estonia. She emphasized the university's longstanding commitment to promoting international cultural exchange and cooperation. She also expressed hope that this summer camp would serve as a platform for meaningful interactions between Chinese and foreign students.

Kart Koppel, coordinator of CITU, shared her excitement about the summer camp. She thanked SUFE for offering Estonian students a valuable opportunity to explore and understand China.

Nikita Razguljajev, a representative of the summer camp participants, delivered a speech in Chinese. He conveyed his deep interest in Shanghai and Chinese culture, expressing his eagerness to learn more about China through this program.

The two-week summer camp features a diverse array of cultural exchange activities, including lectures on China, Chinese culture classes, and sightseeing tours. These activities aim to provide Estonian students with a deeper understanding of Chinese history, culture, and everyday life.
